Let’s all take our minds off of the fact that school is starting really really soon (Wednesday for me). Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week begins this Friday on the 5th! Personally, I think New York’s Fashion Week is the most important one because it will be showing the Spring 2009 collections. I didn’t really pay attention to the Miami and Berlin ones that were in July. Fashion Week in Los Angeles will be at the Smashbox Studios in mid-October. I almost forgot until last week I was in New York shopping and this random stranger began to chat with me and reminded me that Fashion Week was soon. Speaking of New York, I am also excited for the new Topshop (huge British retail chain) flagship store opening in Soho in October on Broadway. If I remember correctly, it was right by the French Culinary Institute and it is going to be three floors! To be honest, I am getting a bit tired of the same store so I am definitely anticipating Topshop although it will be super crowded in October.
