In the desolate plains the dead walk barren
Forsaken by the world of men.
Forgotten and lost they wander still
Upon the dry caked earth.
In the desolate plains the dead walk barren
Haunting the dreams of men.
Banished forever, and never again
To walk among mortal men.
In the desolate plains the dead walk barren
Forgotten from the tales of old.
They wander there, never again
To remember from whence they came.
In the desolate plains where the dead walk barren
None know what they see.
They wander, blind, unhappy,
And fight amongst their kind.
In the desolate plains the dead walk barren
Knowing not how to escape.
But if they knew, they would, no doubt, Try to forget their bying hell.
In the desolate plains the dead walk barren
And you should be thankful you’re still alive.
For when one dies, they never know
Where they’ll go until they’re gone.
Many people seem to think that red is a difficult color to pull off, but it should not be. I do not really believe in ”wrong” colors for certain skin types, but that’s just me. As long as the color does not clash, it is fine. Red is such a classic color that you can wear in various ways. It stands out in the dark winter, brightens up fall days, is lovely in the spring and fits right into the summer. I found some lovely red pieces that can be incorporated into your wardrobe: Urban Outfitters East of the Sun Wrap Bracelets, $24, Urban Outfitters Satin Pleat Skimmer, $34, Urban Outfitters Rendez-vous Paul Joe Sister Tzigane Coat (it’s a great statement piece, don’t need to accessorize much), $268, Guess Jenna Skinny Pant, $79 and Bebe Claudie dress (favorite, I suggest wearing a tank of the same shade underneath this to cover up a bit), $149. Well, that’s all for now. Happy New Year

We are going through a recession but that should not be an excuse to lower our fashion or gift standards. The holidays are a time to spread love and generosity and of course, to dress up. Some outfits for situations you may find yourself in:1. family dinner: don’t get TOO lazy just because you are comfortable with your own family. You can definitely get away with jeans but why not try a lengthy sweater over leggings?2. boyfriend’s family dinner: try to be conservative
… black pants, a long skirt with tights, button up shirt, sweater … depending on how well you know his family. 3. friend’s new year’s party: try something crazy; sequin tops and cocktail dresses are uber cute. 4. school dance: LBD? Red? Green? Be festive. Some patterns and fabrics that I like for the winter: tartan, plaid, argyle, tweed, satin (especially deep purple and black). Hmm, hope everybody has a happy and safe holiday!Let me end this with some suggestions (Victoria’s Secret): (in order: LBD … V-Neck Dress ($128), Silk Dress, paired perfectly with a cardigan ($118), Lace Boatneck Dress ($148), Flutter Sleeve Dress ($138), Cotton Rib Turtleneck Sweater Dress that comes in different colors ($58), Belted Cowl Neck Sweater Dress ($85)

i haven’t been catching up on one of my favorite shows, gossip girl, but in my honest opinion, the best fashion do’s definitely hail from it (i know, i know, it’s everywhere). blair & serena are both impossibly stylish & chic yet they look effortless (well, of course there are stylists on set). they both have such different styles, but they fit together quite well (clearly not their personalities). even if you don’t follow the show, their styles are inspirational, mixing high fashion with normal everyday pieces (well serena does, at least). i’ve been noticing look-a-like pieces in stores such as h&m & forever 21. here’s some of my favorite outfits:

Every day at school there is always one of my friends wearing Uggs(boots),this year it has been a real fashion trend! I wear my black Uggs sometimes but not so often people call me Uggie (my friend)it gets so annoying! I mean its very very cute but I just dont get why girls wear them so much. We live in Vegas and its not even close to cold here. Another trend is scarves and knit hats, I wear alot of scarves (almost a different one a day) but I dont understand the knit hats and Uggs.
